My pal Diana reminded me I haven't updated my deviantart in FOREVER

Well, sorry to be gone so long, this last year went bazooka on me, but in a good way, but it made me fall behind on a zillion things again!
WARNING: Long ramble ahead!
So anyway, shortly after my last journal entry in March, I found out I was pregnant! WOO! So happy and excited! We've since found out it's a boy, and as of RIGHT NOW he's due any minute!

So yeah, that was Crazly Life Thing #1.
Crazy Life Thing #2! My then fiancee and I decided San Diego Comic Con '09 was the PERFECT place to finally get married as that's where we met in '05. So we did! It was wonderful. We got married on one of the balcony's at the con center. It was beautiful!
Crazy Life Thing #3! We had been in the process of trying to buy a home in Kansas all year. We were renting the house until our credit (which was destroyed by hackers the year before) recovered enough for a loan. The deadline was October, and soon after returning home from the honeymoon we were made aware they wanted triple down what they said they originally needed for us to get the loan. Long story short, we lost the house, and we had to move FAST!
Crazy Life Thing #4! So we had 3 weeks to decide what to do. And we had so far previously been preparing to settle down for a loooong time with the baby. So it was a huge upheaval for us. So we figured our options were- Stay in Kansas and rent, or take a wild chance and move somewhere ENTIRELY different, somewhere we've always wanted to live.
So we chose Portland, Maine!!

It seemed perfect for us. On the east coast( a place both of us wanted to try living) very artsy, has lots of snow... so many things. We did everything online, got a great rental, found the perfect area, and went for it. Never been there before, but we knew we didn't want to be in Kansas anymore.
Long story short, it's amazing here in Portland, ME. It was definitely the right choice. We've been here almost 2 months now, and almost settled. It's amazing how things just work out sometimes. We thought we were losing our home, but it turned out WAAAAY better than we ever thought it could!
SO yeah, that's what's been going on! There just hasn't been any room to breath this last year. Sorry for the long ramble, but I figured I should let everyone know where I've been.
As far as work goes, I've been doing as much as I can. I'm right now working on a 6 issue mini-series for IDW of the comic book version of THE LAST UNICORN!!! Talk about a dream come true!! Sonic was definitely a dream come true to draw, but this is on a whole other level for me. I watched that cartoon since the day I was born, and it's influenced my life in many ways. So I'm super excited to be chosen to illustrate the comic

Hope I can do alright!
Also check out Sonic #207 for an Iron Queen short story I pencilled! That was fun! I still have 4 of the original 5 pages for sale (they are inked by Terry Austin) if anyone is interested. I'll sell them for $50 a page.
Oh! And soon check out Jennifer Love Hewitt's: Music Box #4 (IDW) for another story pencilled by me, colored by my wonderful husband Ray Dillon.
Okey dokey!! Guess that's all! Again sorry for being absent, I'll try to be more consistent! But I guess with the baby coming, I can only try, lol!
Thanks for everyone's support, and have a great day!
